Wallet Backup

Now that you successfully created your wallet, this next step is crucial to protect your wallet and prevent any funds being lost.

1. Get a pen and a piece of paper.

2. Click on the settings icon in the right top corner, and click on Wallet Backup.

1. You will see two backup options 'Encrypt vault' and ‘Physical backup’, both marked as Not Tested. Click on ‘Start Backup’.

1. First back up your ‘Physical Backup’, you will be provided with 12 words. Note them down with pen and paper. For the ‘Encrypted vault’ we will cover these steps in the Recoverbull section, later on.

1. Take your time and write down all of the 12 words in the correct order. Make sure that the words are easily readable and in the correct order. Triple check to make sure you wrote them down correctly. Then click ‘Next’.

2. You will now perform a test, tapping the recovery words in the right order. Once you have tapped all the words, click ‘Verify’.

3. If you added all the words in the correct order, you should see ‘Test completed successfully!’.
